I am happy that I read this book as my first one in 2020. It’s fascinating. I didn’t choose it because it mentioned weight loss but it was strongly recommended by a friend and so I wanted to try it. It’s not only about weight loss (though it’s one of the side effects 😜)it’s about the entire body and soul. I already read a lot about the connection between the gut and the mental disorders and have seen the improvements in persons when they started to heal the gut. If not more, this book extensively explains the same connection and the entire digestive process, gut health, Biochemistry of body, the correlation between our moods, characters, and the gut health, etc it’s an eye-opener and the more interesting thing is she given strong scientific evidence for each and everything. I strongly recommend this book. And I already started to follow the “prime-stage one “. Though you are not interested to follow any new regimen just read it for the sake of understanding our body and mind. I highly recommend this book, it’s one of my best read in “health” books.
