Book Title: How To Walk Away

Author: Katherine Center

Genre : Romance / Fiction

My Rating : ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ / 5 ⭐

This is my second book by Katherine Center. And I love her already and want to read all of her books. At first, this book seems to stand behind my first novel by the author “Things you save in fire “(click to read the review). The initial chapters are good but not as good as my expectations. But then she did her usual magic in the following chapters and I fall in love with this too. The story is such a serious plot but the narration is witty and light. I am a person who always expects all the good things that should happen to good people and some kind of punishments should happen to the bad people even in movies and books. But this book( I think all her books ) broke that stereotype but yet I feel happy and peaceful about it instead of getting angry. Tats the magic of her words. She makes it clear the world is not operating in that way and made us realize it’s ok to move on without hurting the people who hurt us. Surprisingly that made us happy to read instead of angry. Even her hero is not the usual “cut from magazine perfect”, ( another stereotype break) but he also lovable. I like all the colorful characters and their portrayal. The final pages melted my heart so much I was happy and peaceful and felt sad the book is over already. Having a lot of cinematic clichès and some unlikely turn of events but the narration made us ignore it. I highly recommend it especially to the women . This book is for us.

Favorite Quote From The Book :

“When you don’t know what to do for yourself, do something for someone else.”

“You can’t ask someone to love you or be there for you or do the right thing—and you certainly can’t guilt them into it. Either they will or they won’t.”

“It’s the trying that heals you. That’s all you have to do. Just try.”
