Though 2020 is one hell of the year, it let me read a lot of books. Totally I read 36 books which are more than 80 % of my Goodreads reading challenge for this year! I feel blessed! So here I want to share the books I enjoyed the most and want my friends to read! Each book title is the clickable link for its detailed review on this blog. Do check and let me know which are your favorites in the comments.

Becoming Michelle Obama: Non-Fiction/ Autobiography

The best read so far! I love this book in every possible way! Such an intense read with a powerful life experience! Please read it!

The Giver of Stars: Fiction/ Historical Fiction

My second favorite so far! OMG! I can’t say enough about this book. I love this book in every way that’s possible, I couldn’t stop bragging about it to all my book friends!

The Prime: Non-Fiction / Self Help

It’s an eye-opener for my Ayurveda search. I did all 3 stages of prime described in this book and I can’t say enough about it benefits! Do check this at least to understand our bodies.

Things you Save in a Fire: Fiction / Women Fiction

One of Katherine Center’s Best book speaks a volume about the value of life, love, and forgiveness. I adore this book and became a die-hard fan of Katherine Center. I read two more books of her following this one.

Where the Forest Meets the Stars: Fiction/Women Fiction

I became a fan of this author and I couldn’t believe it’s her debut novel. The story is overwhelming in a positive way I was thinking about it for several days after finish it! Check this out you won’t get disappointed.

The Guest List: Fiction/Thriller

Perfect Agatha Christie Plot. It’s engaging, and couldn’t put it down without finishing it in one go. I guess it will definitely win one of the good reads “readers choice award” for this year! (let’s check next year whether my words become true or not! 😉 )

The Silent Patient: Fiction/Thriller

Another Agatha Christie plot with a twist, in the end, makes us chase page after page for answers. A must-read for thriller lovers.

Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo: Fiction / Historical Fiction

I love this one for women empowerment, the historical women’s power, and of course for the character “Evelyn Hugo “. You will love this book for all its resemblance to Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor.

The Kiss Quotient: Fiction/Romance

Such a fabulous hot romance! I started to like all “Helen Hoang” books and eagerly waiting for her next one!

So which are your favorite read among these? Do let me know in the comments!

  1. Oh such a great list! I want to read them all but I want to start with The Guest List, I love the Agatha Christie type of novels. One of my highlights and fav of the year is definitely The Sight of You by Holly Miller. It’s amazing!

  2. What a fantastic list – I’ve read a few from the list and loved them – Becoming is right at the top for me too as was Giver the Stars and Kiss Quotient. Oh and I loves The Silent Patient too.
Among the others Where the Forest Meets the Stars stands out. Need to get to it.
